"Snow Country Spirit-Joint Exhibition of Ice and Snow Painting Works" is a communication and promotion funded project of the National Art Foundation in 2019. It has been successfully held in Beijing, Xi'an, Taiyuan, Zhangjiakou, Sichuan, Hefei and other places. This exhibition is the eighth stop of the national tour of the project.

In this exhibition, more than 60 paintings by four artists, Li Bing, Feng Qing, Mu Ruibiao, and Ma Chengliang are on display. There are masterpieces of traditional Chinese painting with ethereal distance and exquisite pen and ink, as well as fine oil paintings with clear colors and majestic atmosphere. It shows the artistic understanding of the world of ice and snow with different painting techniques from the East and the West. It reflects the spirit of the Winter Olympics that is not afraid of hardships, bravely fighting for the game, and the pursuit of peace. It reflects the perseverance, courage and positive spirit of the Chinese nation.

The exhibited works carefully selected by the four artists are presented at the exhibition site in the form of dialogue between oil paintings and traditional Chinese paintings. Among them, the famous ice-snow landscape painter Mr. Li Bing, is currently the deputy secretary and vice chairman of the Sichuan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a national first-level artist, and a tutor of the Chinese Painting Advanced Class of Tsinghua University. Mr. Li Bing specializes in southwestern ice and snow landscape painting, and has formed his own unique expression technique, forming a new spiritual realm of Chinese landscape freehand brushwork. He is one of the important representatives of Chinese ice and snow landscape painting. The oil painting part is led by the famous ice and snow oil painter Feng Qing. Mr. Feng Qing specializes in Chinese ice and snow oil painting and is an important representative of China's ice and snow oil painting. He is an advanced worker in the Civil Progress Culture and Art and was invited as a painter for three consecutive Olympic Art Exhibitions. Mr. Mu Ruibiao graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, under the tutelage of Sun Wenbo, Lu Zhixue, Zhang Fuxing, Man Weiqi, etc. Mr. Ma Chengliang graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Shenyang Luxun Academy of Fine Arts and is currently a painter in the Shenyang Palace Museum. The four artists are the most representative artists in China's ice and snow painting circles.

This exhibition mainly expands from the three dimensions of Chinese and Western painting, ice and snow landscape and Winter Olympic culture. Through the ice and snow paintings of the four artists, actively promote the winter Olympic ice and snow culture, and use the ice and snow painting exhibition to help the Winter Olympics. This is an emotional and emotional exchange, a dialogue between heart and soul. This conveys the holiness and flawlessness of ice and snow, and the optimistic, open-minded, positive attitude towards life in the face of difficulties. It reflects the spirit of human beings who are strong, brave, fearless, and never give up. At the same time, through the exhibition of ice and snow paintings in many places across the country, vigorously disseminate, exchange and promote the spirit of winter Olympic ice and snow culture, actively promote the exchange and mutual construction of Chinese civilization and civilizations of all countries in the world, and drive the 1.4 billion people in China to care, love, and participate in ice and snow sports for Contribute to the development of the Olympic movement and the spread of the Olympic spirit.
