Brief Introduction of the Artist

Xiao Ying, focusing on comparative study of European classical frescoes and comprehensive material painting, is member of China Artists Association and a senior-most craft artist.

Academic achievements: She won Excellence Award in 2013 National Oil Painting Exhibition, attended Comprehensive Material Painting Show of the 13th National Exhibition of Fine Arts. Her works were selected into 2017 Chinese Culture Ministry “Fantastic Art China” Exhibition for Excellent Chinese and Foreign Youth and exhibited in the Metropolitan Museum of Art(New York City). In addition to attending the 19th French Modern Art Exhibition, she also took part in China National Arts Fund Project- “Round and Develop” Academic Invitation Exhibition of Comprehensive Material Painting during 2018 and 2021 and exhibited her works in all authoritative art museums of China, accepted the invitation to 2020 China National Arts Fund Project “Dive into Life” Exhibition tour and attended 2020 Japan Fukuoka Asian Art Museum China Contemporary Art Exhibition. Her collection of monographs was published in 2017. She has worked for major domestic universities and professional institutions such as School of Continuing Education of Central Academy of Fine Arts, Jiangxi Institute of Socialism(as cultural ambassador), Academy of Arts of Jiangxi Science and Technology Normal University, School of Ceramic Art of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute, Comprehensive Material Painting Art Committee of Shangdong Artists Association and Shanghai Songjiang Comprehensive Material Painting Art Committee as visiting professor , distinguished tutor or art director.
